New York Times - example of the terrorist-sympathizing liberal media

Well, libsurgents, you and your media had really done it this time - on Thursday a Republican-crafted resolution condemning news organizations for revealing a covert government program to track terrorist financing was ratified, saying the disclosure had "placed the lives of Americans in danger." The resolution, passed 227-183 on a largely party-line vote, did not specifically name the news organizations, but it was aimed at the New York Times and other news media that last week reported on a secret CIA -Treasury program to track millions of financial records in search of terrorists.

Most Democrats, being liberal eunuchs they are, opposed the measure, protesting language in it that asserts that the Terrorist Finance Tracking Program was "rooted in sound legal authority" and that members of Congress had been appropriately briefed on the program. While the Los Angeles Times and Wall Street Journal also carried stories on the program, Republicans singled out the New York Times. "The recent front-page story in the aforementioned New York Times cut the legs out from under this program," said the Financial Services Committee chairman, Rep. Michael Oxley, R-Ohio. "Now the terrorists are well-informed of the details of our methods and will find other ways to move money outside of the formal financial system."

But libtards never learn, today all liberal media outlets are pushing an ALLEGED story about five U.S. Army soldiers that are being investigated for allegedly raping a young Iraqi woman south of Baghdad, then killing her and three members of her family in Iraq, and then burning the bodies to conceal the evidence ... Why do you hate America libturds? Why do you, liberal ass bandits, want to feed Islamic terrorists and Bolshevik anti-American scumbags like Michael Moore more with this anti-American propaganda, explain this to me. In the time of war, I think it is time arresting treasonous journalists and news editors - because stories like this cost us lives, and encourage terrorism.

Tomorrow Canadian taxes to be reduced by 1%, Happy Canada Day All, Thanks Conservative Party!

Prime Minister Stephen Harper marked the lowering of the Goods and Services Tax today at a department store in Ottawa, Ontario, reminding all Canadians that they will pay less for everything they buy as of Canada Day. “Canada’s New Government is committed to lower taxes, and we are pleased that lowering the GST to six per cent is just one of the many tax cuts contained in Budget 2006,” the Prime Minister said. “This single tax reduction will mean nine billion more dollars will be kept in the pockets and bank accounts of Canadians over the next two years.” Joined by the Honourable Jim Flaherty, Minister of Finance, the Prime Minister unveiled a new sign that will appear in retails stores across Canada telling consumers the GST rate has been reduced to six per cent.Today’s announcement is but the initial step. The Government is committed to further cutting the GST to five per cent, which will result in more savings for all Canadians. Under Canada’s New Government, Canadians are saving more money. In Budget 2006, 29 separate tax cuts were introduced, representing more tax relief than in the four previous federal budgets.

Israel strikes Palestinian Interior Ministry

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip - Israeli aircraft struck the Palestinian Interior Ministry early Friday, setting it on fire. No one was hurt. The Israeli military confirmed its planes hit the office of Interior Minister Said Siyam, which it called "a meeting place to plan and direct terror activity."
The Interior Ministry is nominally in charge of Palestinian security forces, though moderate Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas removed most of its authority. Smoke rose from the building in downtown Gaza City, empty because of the late hour. The airstrike took place about 1:30 a.m. Friday. Palestinian leadership demanded immediate intervention of UN and cessation of Israeli aggression; mass demonstrations were held throughout Gaza Strip.

Gaza Crisis: Situation Worsens

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip - Israeli forces rounded up dozens of Palestinian Cabinet ministers and lawmakers from Hamas, increasing pressure on the Islamic militants to release a captured Israeli soldier, and witnesses said tanks moved into northern Gaza, widening Israel's largest military operation in the year since Israel pulled out of the seaside territory. Adding to the tension, a Palestinian militant group said it executed an 18-year-old Jewish settler kidnapped in the West Bank. Palestinian security officials said they believed the body of Eliahu Asheri had been found in the West Bank city of Ramallah.
Hamas officials said more than 30 lawmakers have been arrested in the West Bank.
Palestinian security officials said Israeli forces detained the Palestinian deputy prime minister, Nasser Shaer, and three other Cabinet ministers, as well as four lawmakers in Ramallah. Several others were arrested in the town of Jenin, they said. Israeli media reported a roundup of Hamas lawmakers in Jerusalem and other locations. Also, the Hamas mayor of the West Bank town of Qalqiliya and his deputy were detained, security officials said.

Another Israeli hostage taken, Gaza offensive expands

Mohammed Abdel Al, a spokesman for the Popular Resistance Committees, a violent group with ties to the Hamas-led Palestinian government, holds up a poster he said shows the Israeli identity card of abducted Jewish settler Eliahu Pinchas Asheri during a news conference in Gaza City, Wednesday, June 28, 2006. The PRC on Wednesday threatened to kill Asheri if Israel doesn't stop its raid on the Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile Israeli artillery pounded the northern
Gaza Strip on Wednesday as troops and tanks prepared to widen an offensive designed to force Palestinian militants to release an abducted soldier.
I am surprised U.S. media is more concerned with flooding in New England, than with this conflict that can easily spin into all-out war - the media types haven't even given this a catchy screen name yet - like, "Showdown in Gaza", or "Invasion of the Strip" ... this blog will watch the situation closely, this can easily go from simple hostage taking, and tunnel sabotage - into an event of historical proportions ... stay tuned.

Israel offensive moves entire region into a dangerous state

RAFAH, Gaza Strip (AP) --Israeli warplanes buzzed the seaside home of Syria's president and bombed Hamas targets in Gaza on Wednesday to pressure Palestinian militants to free a kidnapped Israeli soldier. Israeli military officials said on condition of anonymity that warplanes flew low over the home of Syrian President Bashar Assad because he has sheltered Hamas leaders, who Israel blames for masterminding the kidnapping. No casualties have been reported since the offensive began early Wednesday as the Israeli army sent tanks and thousands of troops into Gaza.
Air defenses fired on Israeli warplanes that entered Syrian airspace early Wednesday and forced them to flee, state TV said as Mideast tensions escalated over the kidnapping of an Israeli soldier by Palestinian militants. State-run Syrian television said two Israeli planes flew near Syria's Mediterranean coast early Wednesday, and "national air defenses opened fire in the direction of the planes, and they dispersed." The announcement did not mention a claim by Israeli military officials that the fighter jets buzzed the summer residence of President Bashar Assad.

Where is this going?

Updates from volatile Middle East hotspots

Where to begin?! ... Oh yeah, on yet another front in the global war against Islamic terrorism - Ethiopian forces have killed 111 Islamic militant rebels and captured more than 100 who crossed over from Eritrea earlier this month, the state news agency says. Another 18 of the Ethiopian rebels were wounded during a major military sweep in the remote north, Ethiopian News Agency (ENA) said on Tuesday, quoting the defense ministry.

Ethiopia, the major power in the Horn of Africa, has frequently accused its smaller northern neighbor Eritrea of backing, arming and harboring a variety of Islamic insurgents. Eritrea called the report a "total fabrication" intended to divert attention from Ethiopian troop movements on the border with Somalia, where Addis Ababa has watched the rise of Islamists in Mogadishu with nervousness. Mogadishu's newly ruling Islamists have accused Ethiopia of sending soldiers over the border. Addis Ababa denies that.

So there you go - Ethiopia - another reluctant warrior-nation dragged into this global war, being a Christian majority and a democracy - it comes with no surprise that newly installed Islamic militant government in Somalia on the south, and Eriterian rebel activity in the north presents a direct threat to stability of that nation.

MOSCOW - President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday ordered Russia's special services to hunt down the killers of four Russian hostages in Iraq, the Kremlin said. "The president has ordered the special forces to take all necessary measures to find and destroy the criminals who killed Russian diplomats in Iraq," the Kremlin press service said. It did not specify what forces might be involved. Agents of the Foreign Intelligence Service and the Federal Security Service - the main successor to the KGB - could be considered special forces.

Putin also said Russia "will be grateful to all its friends for any information on the criminals," the Kremlin said. The order follows Monday's confirmation by the Foreign Ministry that four Russian Embassy workers seized in Iraq in early June had been killed. Earlier Wednesday, the lower house of the Russian parliament decried the murders and said that "occupying" countries are losing control in Iraq.Russia has strongly opposed the U.S.-led military campaign in Iraq. The statement by the State Duma "deplores the death of our compatriots ... expresses profound indignation over the fact of their brutal murder and strongly denounces the criminals, who committed that heinous crime."

So does this mean that Russian leadership finally put the dots together and linked their problems in Chechnya with Islamic terrorists abroad; and does this mean that Putin decided to forgo Ideological differences and actually commit Russian intelligence agents (FSB), and SpetzNaz (special forces) to the Iraqi campaign in this global war? We'll have to wait and see.

Gaza Strip - Israel kept up the pressure on Palestinian militants to release a captive Israeli soldier Wednesday, sending its warplanes to bomb a Hamas training camp after knocking out electricity and water supplies for most of the 1.3 million residents of the Gaza Strip. Palestinians dug in behind walls and embankments, preparing for a major strike after Israel sent in troops and tanks, and bombarded bridges and a power station. At mid-afternoon, warplanes fired missiles at open fields in northern Gaza in an effort to prevent Palestinians from launching rockets from the area, the military said. Separately, Israel attacked a rocket-making factory in southern Gaza. Later, Israeli aircraft struck a training camp of the Hamas militant group in Rafah, witnesses said. The army had no immediate comment.

It was Israel's first ground offensive since pulling its soldiers and settlers out of Gaza last summer. Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said Israel would not balk at "extreme action" to bring Cpl. Gilad Shalit, 19, home but did not intend to reoccupy Gaza.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas deplored the incursion as a "crime against humanity," and a leading Hamas politician issued a call to arms against the Israeli troops. Israeli warplanes fired at least nine missiles at Gaza's only power station, cutting electricity to 65 percent of the Gaza Strip, engineers at the station said. The station's three functioning turbines and a gasoline reservoir were engulfed in flames. Wasfi Kabha, the Palestinian minister of prisoner affairs in the Hamas, said that the Israeli attacks were creating a "humanitarian crisis."

Here is what I don't get, past all the moral and legal issues in this mini-invasion or "punitive action" - why does Israel takes out bridges, water and power supplies, making majority of population suffer, supposedly over the action of the few? So, there idefinitelyly more to this at this story develops.

UKRAINE - A WORLD CLASS FOOTBALL TEAM

Who could of guessed that a nation that didn't even exist 15 years ago can have a world class team, and be standing on the same level as the above-mentioned football giants, I can't be more proud of my birthplace.

Invasion of Gaza Strip commences

Israeli troops and tanks have moved into southern Gaza after diplomatic talks failed to secure the release of a soldier abducted by Palestinian fighters. An Israeli army spokesman confirmed the incursion that occured early on Wednesday shortly after Palestinian security forces stationed near the border town of Rafah said they were ordered to leave by the Israelis.
The offensive followed air strikes overnight that took out three strategic bridges and hit the main power station, causing a huge fire and plunging Gaza City into darkness. The deployment seems to be the start of a major Israeli incursion into the territory to supposedly recover 19 year-old Corporal Gilad Shalit who was captured on Sunday in an attack that left two other soldiers dead.
Tensions have been high ever since with large numbers of Israeli troops deployed to the border and on Monday Olmert promisied a punitive strike if Shalit was not freed. Meanwhile, in a phone call to AFP, the armed Palestinian group the Popular Resistance Committees threatened to kill a Jewish settler it claims to have kidnapped, unless Israel stopped the offensive.

Israel prepares the invasion of Gaza Strip

NIZMIT HILL, Israel (Reuters) - Israeli tanks and troops massed near Gaza on Tuesday for a threatened offensive against Palestinian militants as the Israeli government said it would target Hamas leaders if an abducted soldier was not freed.
In northern Gaza, Palestinians blocked roads with dirt and barbed wire. Militants wielding automatic rifles and anti-tank rockets rigged explosive devices along a road as tensions hit their highest since Israel quit Gaza nearly a year ago.
The United States urged Israel to give diplomatic negotiations a chance to win the release of Corporal Gilad Shalit, who was seized on Sunday by militants who also killed two soldiers in a raid on a military border post.
Israel's military build-up came as Palestinian factions put aside months of internal acrimony and agreed on a manifesto at the heart of a power struggle between the moderate President Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh of Hamas.

So let me get this straight, Israel is about to cross over into Palestinian-controlled Gaza Strip, with the intent to target members of democratically-elected Hamas government, crossing the border in clear violation of Oslo Accords, under a reason way too reminiscent of Gleiwitz incident, and yet - no one in international community seems to scrutinize this action - interesting.

UKRAINE DEFEATS SWISS, ADVANCES TO QUARTER FINALS

Ukraine won through to a FIFA World Cup™ quarter-final against Italy after beating Switzerland on penalties after a goalless draw in Cologne on Monday, 26 June 2006.
None of Switzerland's three penalty-takers - Marco Streller, Tranquillo Barnetta and Ricardo Cabanas - were able to convert their kicks meaning that despite Andriy Shevchenko's miss for Ukraine, Oleg Blokhin's side won the shoot-out 3-0. Artem Milevskiy, Serhiy Rebrov and Oleg Gusev all put the ball past Pascal Zuberbuehler to leave the Ukrainians looking forward to a tie with Italy in Hamburg on Friday.
Chances were at a premium during the opening 90 minutes of this Round of 16 match, but both teams at least managed to hit the woodwork. Shevchenko's low header bounced off the ground and onto the crossbar from a Maxim Kalinichenko free-kick. Four minutes later, it was Switzerland's turn to go close as Alexander Frei's right-footed free-kick curled on to the crossbar.
In extra time both Johann Vogel and Philipp Degen went close for the Swiss, but as the 120 minutes ended scoreless, penalties were required for the first time in this edition of the FIFA World Cup.

U.S. Patriots are going to Japan

Tokyo and Washington will deploy advanced Patriot interceptor missiles in Japan for the first time, officials said Monday amid concerns North Korea may be preparing to test-fire a long-range ballistic missile.
The U.S. and Japan reached an accord on the interceptors this month after reports of the possible test-firing became public, and they plan to install the weapons on American bases in Japan as soon as possible, Japan's Defense Agency said.
Japan's largest newspaper said the interceptor missiles could be installed by the end of the year. It was unclear whether Patriot Advanced Capability-3 missiles — designed to intercept ballistic missiles, cruise missiles or enemy aircraft — would be able to hit North Korea's latest long-range missile, the newspaper reported.

Ya, Allah is great: brutal execution of Russian hostages video surfaces the net

The Mujahideen Shura Council in Iraq issued today, June 25, 2006, a statement and 1:37 minute video of the execution of the captured Russian diplomats. The group announces that the execution is an act of “revenge for our brothers and sisters for what they encounter between torturing, killing and eviction by the infidel’s Russian government, (referring to Chechnya)” and disregard claims from scholars that the killing of “infidels” is forbidden, posting: “the Book of Allah is between us”.
The video depicts the four men appearing on camera individually, then a scene in which two masked Mujahideen shout “Allah is Great” as one begins to behead one of the captured. The beheading itself is not shown; rather, seen is the aftermath of two heads sitting atop the backs of two of the executed Russians. A subsequent scene in the outdoors is shown of a blindfolded Russian diplomat shot in the head. The fourth murder is not shown.
From the oral statements of the diplomats, they state their names, positions in the Russian embassy, date of birth, and their marital status.According to media reports, the Russian diplomats, Fyodor Zaitsev, Rinat Agliugin, Anatoly Smirnov and Oleg Fedoseyev were kidnapped on June 3, 2006.
The Mujahideen Shura Council is composed of eight insurgency groups in Iraq: al-Qaeda in Iraq, Victorious Army Group, the Army of al-Sunnah Wal Jama’a, Jama’a al-Murabiteen, Ansar al-Tawhid Brigades, Islamic Jihad Brigades, the Strangers Brigades, and the Horrors Brigades, collaborating to meet the “unbelievers gathering with different sides” and defend Islam.

Holy Warriors for Religion of Peace indeed ...

Today I am embarrassed to be Canadian

Tens of thousands of homosexuals and proponents of gay agenda are expected to march today in downtown Toronto, my hometown. I am truly ashamed and embarrassed that these kind of public displays of deviance and perversion are allowed to be carried out corrupting our children, and our traditional values. I hang my head low in shame for my nation.

Just another day with radical Islam

Israeli soldiers remove the bodies of two dead comrades after an attack by Palestinian militants at a military post near kibbutz Kerem Shalom, just outside the Gaza Strip, Sunday June 25, 2006. Palestinian militants from the Gaza Strip infiltrated Israel through a tunnel early Sunday, attacking a military post and killing two soldiers before soldiers shot dead three gunmen, the army, militants and witnesses said. Also one Israeli soldier was missing after the attack, the army said. The small Popular Resistance Committees claimed responsibility for the attack, saying militants from the ruling Hamas group and from a previously unknown group, the Islam Army, participated in the attack. In the background the control tower of the closed Gaza airport in the outskirts of the Palestinian town of Rafah.
Elsewhere, an al-Qaida-linked group in Iraq has said it has killed four Russian hostages, according to a statement posted on the internet. "God's verdict has been carried out on the Russian diplomats ... in revenge for the torture, killing and expulsion of our brothers and sisters by the infidel Russian government," the statement said. The group has demanded that Russia pull out its troops from Chechnya and release all Muslim prisoners. Four Russian embassy workers were abducted on June 3 after an attack on their car in Baghdad's Mansour neighbourhood. A fifth Russian was killed in the incident.
Meanwhile, seven U.S. soldiers were killed in Iraq within the past 24 hours as the Iraq's prime minister plans to offer up a peace plan aimed at ending the insurgency, but most Sunni insurgent groups say it doesn't meet their concerns.

wow, and the day only began

82 MORE TERRORIST SCUM WASTED IN AFGHANISTAN

KABUL, Afghanistan - Afghan and U.S.-led coalition forces killed about 82 militants in battles across southern Afghanistan. On Friday, troops fought more than 40 extremists during a five-hour gunbattle near the village of Mirabad, northeast of the capital in southern Uruzgan province.
Most of the militants were believed killed, the coalition said. No coalition or civilian injuries were reported.
In a separate assault, Afghan and coalition forces battled a large group of militants in the Zharie district of Kandahar province, killing about 25 during the three hours of fighting. "Several extremists broke contact by using innocent Afghan civilians as shields to escape into nearby villages," a military statement said.
Another 17 insurgents were killed Wednesday after coalition forces surprised them setting up an ambush site near Tirin Kot, the capital of Uruzgan province.
Coalition forces have launched a large offensive against Taliban forces to stop a wave of suicide attacks and ambushes in the last few months. More than 10,000 Afghan, British, Canadian and American troops are deployed across Kandahar, Helmand, Uruzgan and Zabul provinces' areas where Taliban forces have regrouped and gained strength and sympathy.
More than 200 insurgents have been killed since Operation Mountain Thrust began earlier this month, according to the coalition. The Afghan defense ministry said 149 militants have been killed, 32 wounded and 61 were arrested in the operation. Three Afghan soldiers were killed and 14 others injured.

I am so proud Canada is finally a part of this great offensive, I hope Islamic militant casualtiess will be in 1,000s as operation Mountain Thrust progresses ... stay tuned. Semper Fi!

Ukraine beats Tunisia, off to finals!, THANK YOU ANDRYUSHA SHEVCHENKO

Andriy Shevchenko’s 70th minute penalty proved to be enough for Ukraine to book their progression through to the Round of 16 as they recorded a 1-0 win over Tunisia in Berlin on Friday, 23 June 2006.
A win could have given Tunisia the runners up spot in Group H, but their task was made all the more difficult when they had striker Zied Jaziri sent-off for a second bookable offence on the stroke of half-time.
As for Ukraine, competing in their first FIFA World Cup, they are now looking forward to a second round tie against the winners of Swiss in Cologne on 26 June.
Andrei "Andryusha" Shevchenko is now this pundit's and Ukrainian true hero, and he's worth every penny of that 45,000,000 Euros Chelsea club pays him. GO SHEVCHENKO

Photos of U.S. homegrown terrorists

Seven men accused of trying to blow up the Sears Tower with help from al-Qaida never actually made contact with the terrorist network and were instead caught in an FBI sting involving an informant who posed as an al-Qaida operative, authorities said Friday. Federal prosecutors said the men -- who operated out of a warehouse in Miami's blighted Liberty City section -- took an oath to al-Qaida and plotted to create an "Islamic Army" bent on violence against the United States. Five of those arrested are U.S. citizens ... what a colorful bunch - although I hope everyone of them gets death penalty, these scumbags will probably enjoy lifelong prison off our tax money - oh well; hey libsurgents, see what happens when you sympathize with the enemy?

Treehuggers ring the bells of doom ... again

WASHINGTON - The Earth is running a slight fever from greenhouse gases, after enjoying relatively stable temperatures for 2,000 years. The National Academy of Sciences, after reconstructing global average surface temperatures for the past two millennia, said Thursday the data are "additional supporting evidence ... that human activities are responsible for much of the recent warming."
WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE !

not
where to begin? First, libs, who accurately measured temperature 2000 years ago? Jesus Christ?; or if you follow lib logic - it must have been Darwin's apes, liberal's forefathers. These so-called "environmentalists" scare me as much as Islamic terrorists (and there are actual enviro-terrorists, but it's a separate story) because they are prepared to trade human progress for a bug's life - btw, those idiot libtards wining about extinct ticks and beetles should know better, because according to liberal Darwin's theory - they perished in survival of the fittest ... hey, libs, I don't see you grow any gills yet. Point is, no one, can still decisively and impartially even begin to explain atmospheric phenomenon like ozone holes and global warming, forget trying linking them to anything. Yet lib boys and girls (Rachel Carson - Silent Spring) do like to cry, "Wolf!", to the point where chemical DDT that was rumored harmful to some DoDo bird who craps on your head, got banned for use as pesticide in Africa, resulting in 1,000s of Africans to die of Famine, just ask Angelina. Don't even start with Kyoto Accords trying to take us to Stone Age, or lib fear of nuclear power (whereby their preference is fossil fuels?! - i.e. blood for oil) - hey, libtards, another contradiction .... anyways, these "human cause global warming" tirades are as invalid as other lib arguments - i.e. gay gene (how does that survive through generations btw?), or all Wahaabist and Salafist Muslims are peaceful. Now if you excuse me, I have to drive around for a while, idle my car at few parking lots, and vent at this.

7 detained in Chicago terrorist plot

MIAMI - Seven people were arrested Thursday in connection with the early stages of a plot to attack Chicago's Sears Tower and other buildings in the U.S., including the FBI office here, a federal law enforcement official said.
As part of the raids related to the arrests, FBI agents swarmed a warehouse in Miami's Liberty City area, using a blowtorch to take off a metal door. One neighbor said the suspects had been sleeping in the warehouse while running what seemed to be a "military boot camp."
The official told The Associated Press the alleged plotters were mainly Americans with no apparent ties to al-Qaida or other foreign terrorist organizations. He spoke on condition of anonymity so as not to pre-empt news conferences planned for Friday in Washington and Miami.
But somehow we all know their names are not James or Brad, more in the lines of Ali Baba, Muhammed Al Kaboom, or Havin bin Fcked

100s of WMDs FOUND IN IRAQ, IN YOUR FACE LIBSURGENTS

"We have found weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, chemical weapons," Sen. Rick Santorum, R-Pa., said in a quickly called press conference late Wednesday afternoon. Reading from a declassified portion of a report by the National Ground Intelligence Center, a Defense Department intelligence unit, Santorum said: "Since 2003, coalition forces have recovered approximately 500 weapons munitions which contain degraded mustard or sarin nerve agent. Despite many efforts to locate and destroy Iraq's pre-Gulf War chemical munitions, filled and unfilled pre-Gulf War chemical munitions are assessed to still exist."

Click here to read the declassified portion of the NGIC report.

He added that the report warns about the hazards that the chemical weapons could still pose to coalition troops in Iraq. "The purity of the agents inside the munitions depends on many factors, including the manufacturing process, potential additives and environmental storage conditions. While agents degrade over time, chemical warfare agents remain hazardous and potentially lethal," Santorum read from the document.
The weapons are thought to be manufactured before 1991 so they would not be proof of an ongoing WMD program in the 1990s. But they do show that Saddam Hussein was lying when he said all weapons had been destroyed, and it shows that years of on-again, off-again weapons inspections did not uncover these munitions.

Even Europe supports Bush on North Korea and Iran

VIENNA, Austria - President Bush won solid European support Wednesday for his handling of escalating nuclear crises with North Korea and but was challenged over the Iraq (oh well) war, the U.S. prison camp in Cuba and rising anti-American sentiment.
"That's absurd," Bush snapped at a news conference in response to an assertion that the United States was regarded as the biggest threat to global security. "We'll defend ourselves, but at the same time we're actively working with our partners to spread peace and democracy.
Unbidden, Austrian Chancellor Wolfgang Schuessel rose with an impassioned defense that seemed to surprise the president.
"I think it's grotesque to say that America is a threat to the peace in the world compared with North Korea, Iran, a lot of countries," Schuessel said. Europe would not enjoy peace and prosperity if not for U.S. help after World War II, he said. "We should be fair from the other side of the Atlantic," Schuessel said. "We should understand what September 11th meant to the American people."
Only liberals ass bandits still fail to comprehend reality of post 9/11 global environment and enemies of freedom; you libs are too brainwashed by anti-American Bolshevik elements like George Soros conglomerate MoveOn.org and war profiteer Michael Moore. Shame, tragedy like 9/11 haven't opened your eyes to the reality of world we live in. Oh well, libturds, president Bush will lead the world in liberation of Axis of Evil nations of Iran and North Korea at any cost with or without you .

Islamic savages torture and execute 2 U.S. POWs in Iraq

An Iraqi military official said Tuesday that the bodies of two missing U.S. soldiers showed signs of torture, and that men appeared to have been killed "in a barbaric way." Also, the umbrella group for Iraqi insurgents claimed responsibility for the soldiers' deaths.
"We give the good news ... to the Islamic nation that we have carried God's verdict by slaughtering the two captured crusaders," said a statement in the name of the Mujahedeen Shura Council, which groups five insurgent organizations including al-Qaida in Iraq.
At a news briefing, U.S. Maj. Gen. William Caldwell declined to identify the two men until their families could be notified. Pfc. Kristian Menchaca, 23, of Houston, and Pfc. Thomas L. Tucker, 25, of Madras, Ore., disappeared after an insurgent attack Friday at a checkpoint by a Euphrates River canal south of Baghdad. Spc. David J. Babineau, 25, of Springfield, Mass., was killed.
The checkpoint was in the Sunni Arab region known as the "Triangle of Death" because of frequent ambushes there of U.S. soldiers and Iraqi troops. The three men were assigned to the 1st Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 101st Airborne Division from Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

Just another day with the religion of peace ... So, this was all done in the name of Allah, where is Islamic world outrage now? Will one mosque or Islamic organization denounce these acts and ex-communicate the perpetrators - the mujahadeen ("holy" warriors") - anyone?

World Cup: Ukraine annihilated Saudi team, revives hopes

Ukraine made amends for their disappointing start to Group H when they defeated Saudi Arabia 4-0 in Hamburg on Monday, 19 June 2006. Oleg Blokhin’s side, who had suffered defeat by the same scoreline to Spain in their opening match, look desperate to make amends in this match and began in the best possible manner. Andriy Rusol fired Ukraine ahead in the fourth minute, while a Serhiy Rebrov wonder strike double their advantage on 36. Andriy Shevchenko headed a third just seconds after the restart, while Budweiser Man of the Match Maksym Kalinichenko got the goal his performance deserved six minutes from time.
Now, it's only a matter of defeating Tunisia (HA!), and we are off to quarter finals of round 2!!!

NORTH KOREA - THS AXIS OF EVIL NATION MUST BE NEUTRALIZED NOW!

WASHINGTON - North Korea has finished loading fuel into a long-range ballistic missile, a Bush administration official said Monday as signs continued that the reclusive communist state will soon test a weapon that could reach the United States. U.S. intelligence indicates that the long-range missile, believed to be a Taepodong-2, is fully fueled, said the official, who requested anonymity because the information comes from sensitive intelligence methods. That reportedly gives the North a launch window of about a month.

Another Chechen Islamic terrorist separatist leader killed, great news

This is the body of Abdul-Kharim Sidulaev - after the killing of Chechen terrorist-sepratist leader Aslan Maskhadov on March 8th, this man was in charge of planning of terrorist attacks and destabilization of that volatile Caucasus region.
Both the Maskhadov camp and that of radical Chechen field commander Shamil Basaev announced that Abdul-Kharim Saidulaev was assuming presidential powers. Saidulaev will serve as acting president until elections can be held in Chechnya, they said.
"These people will fight until the end. They are professional fighters, and I might even say that these professional 'mujahedins' will also in a way influence the [situation] in the Middle East, Iraq, and so on."
Saidulaev, who was in his 30s, is a relatively little-known figure in Chechnya and a complete mystery abroad. He is believed to have been very close to Maskhadov, who reportedly anointed him as a possible successor two years ago. Maskhadov's early backing provides him considerable credibility, but the slain former president never introduced Saidulaev to the broader public. Nor did he explain his choice.
Ironically, he was killed by one of his own militants on the bounty set by legitimate, democratically-elected, and Russia-backed president of Chechnya Ramzan Kadirov - for the price of 1,500 Russian rubles, or roughly $ 60 - that were paid out to the assassin (allegedly to be used for his hashish addiction). Terrorists are losing worldwide, it's just matter of time until one remaining Chechen terrorist leader Shamil Basaev is killed (and after all he had done, no mercy will be given to him by Russian military).

45 TERRORISTS WASTED IN AFGHANISTAN TODAY, LIBSURGENTS LOWER IRANIAN FLAGS TO HALF-MAST IN MOURNING

KABUL, Afghanistan - Coalition forces pressed forward with a major offensive in southern
Afghanistan, killing an estimated 45 insurgents in attacks on two Taliban militant camps, military officials said Saturday. Most died when Afghan and coalition forces surprised militants as they gathered at a "known enemy camp" in Khod Valley, part of the Shaheed Hasas district of Uruzgan province, the military said in a statement.
"Coalition forces tracked the development of this meeting until there were more than 50 extremists gathered before attacking," said military spokesman Lt. Col. Paul Fitzpatrick.
About 40 militants were killed, including bombers, their financial backers and local leaders responsible for attacks against Afghan civilians and the army, the military said. The combat operations were part of Operation Mountain Thrust, the largest anti-Taliban military campaign undertaken since the former regime's 2001 ouster in an American-led invasion.

More bad news for libtards, sorry no flowers for these 45 parasites, hope they enjoy their 72 raisins in hell.

No Iraq withdrawal timetable, libtards, looks like you are defeated again cowards!

WASHINGTON - The House on Friday handily rejected a timetable for pulling U.S. forces out of Iraq, culminating a fiercely partisan debate between Republicans and Democrats feeling the public's apprehension about war and the onrushing midterm campaign season. In a 256-153 vote that mirrored the position taken by the Senate earlier, the GOP-led House approved a nonbinding resolution that praises U.S. troops, labels the Iraq war part of the larger global fight against terrorism and says an "arbitrary date for the withdrawal or redeployment" of troops is not in the national interest.
Nansi Pelosi, John Murtha and other democRAT terrorist sympathizers ought to be ashamed of themselves even bringing up this issue ... LISTEN UP LIBTURDS, THIS IS WAR, AND WE WILL STAY IN IRAQ, AFGHANISTAN, AND IRAN (coming soon) AS LONG AS NECESSARY, OR UNTIL EVERY LAST ISLAMIC TERRORIST VERMIN HAD BEEN KILLED OR CAPTURED

Have you seen this man?

This photo released by the U.S. Military at a press conference in Baghdad, Iraq Thursday, June 15, 2006, purports to show Abu Ayyub al-Masri who is allegedly the man claiming to be the new al-Qaida in Iraq leader and apparently the same person as a man identified by the nom de guerre Abu Hamza al-Muhajer, according to the U.S. Military, who has claimed to have succeeded Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and vowed to avenge him in threatening web statements in recent days.

Update on Palestinian beach massacre

JERUSALEM - A U.S.-trained military expert disputed on Wednesday an Israeli claim that it had nothing to do with an explosion that killed eight Palestinian beachgoers in the
Gaza Strip last Friday, an incident that has turned a critical spotlight on Israel's military practices.

Practices? Expert? Still too many questions; in either case - this is a war crime against civilians; this act of savagery must be persecuted under international law.

Massive crackdown on Islamic terrorists in Afghan, Iraq begins

BAGHDAD, Iraq — Iraq's prime minister set in motion the biggest security crackdown in Baghdad since the U.S.-led invasion, with 75,000 Iraqi and U.S. troops to deploy across the strife-prone capital starting Wednesday.
At the same time, coalition forces today launched a massive hunt for Islamic terrorists in Afghanistan codename operation Mountain Thrust.
Meanwhile, emphasizing the successes in Iraq a day after returning from a surprise visit there, President Bush said Wednesday that the United States will help Iraq succeed as it heads toward a stable democracy.

Another bad day for liberals and terrorists.

Which side is Hitlery on again?

WASHINGTON - Anti-war activists at a liberal gathering booed Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton on Tuesday for opposing a set date for pulling U.S. troops from Iraq. Facing down the jeers, Clinton said Democrats need to have "a difficult conversation" about the war.

Is Hamas or Israeli military behind the massacre on the beach?

This is, by far, most disturbing and already controversial news of the day - according to preliminary reports An Israeli artillery shell slammed into a crowded beach in the northern Gaza Strip Friday, killing seven members of a Palestinian family. Among the dead was a baby boy who was ripped from his motherÂ’s arms by the explosion. Israeli officials said the attack was part of a larger operation aimed at stopping militants from firing rockets into Israel. The Israeli military later apologized for the civilian deaths. There is an ongoing investigation as to the exact circumstances of this incident.
Later Israeli Defense Minister Amir Peretz on Tuesday denied that Israel was responsible for a blast on the Gaza beach Friday that killed eight Palestinian civilians. Addressing a Tel Aviv news conference to present the findings of an Israeli inquiry into the incident, Peretz said, "We have enough findings to back up the suspicion that the intention to describe this as an Israeli event is simply not correct." Palestinians charge that the deaths were caused by an Israeli artillery shell.
Israeli military officials said their investigation had concluded that the blast almost certainly came from a Hamas militant mine, and not an Israeli shell.

http://www.ogrish.com/

Images of that girl reacting to the sight of her mutilated family will haunt this pundit for a long time; but whoever is responsible for that savagery, facts remains the same, the" election" of Hamas into power in Palestine only further destabilized already volatile situation in the region; and the inability of Palestinians to control these radical elements in their own society, and Israel's pre-emptive aggression only intensifies the situation and fuels the radicals - one is left wondering of what lies ahead.

Toronto Police makes arrests in Jane Creba Boxing Day murder / shootout

A series of pre-dawn police arrests appears to be related to the Boxing Day shootout that claimed the life of 15-year-old Jane Creba. Raids conducted by Toronto officers and homicide investigators before 5am Tuesday, could represent a major step forward in the as-yet unsolved murder case.
And a Toronto Police press release would seem to confirm that - announcing that at 11am Tuesday, Chief Bill Blair will hold a press conference to make a major announcement in connection with the Creba case. Dozens have reportedly been brought in so far as the guns and gangs task force made the large-scale busts across the city, including nine men and one woman in the Oakwood and Eglinton area.
Most of the suspects were taken to Toronto Police 52 Division on Dundas St. West for processing. The exact number of arrests is unknown at this point. Jane Creba died after being caught in the crossfire of a gunfight - apparently between two rival groups - in the Yonge and Dundas area at about 5:30pm on Boxing Day. Six other bystanders were hurt in the spray of bullets. Two people have been arrested and charged in connection to the shooting, but not with Creba's death.

All I can say here is - you know, when it comes to these tragedies like - gang activity or terrorism in Toronto - one wishes one could be color and religion/ ethnicity blind. But in today's world of uncertainty one has to put reason and common sense before liberal-esque sensitivity.

Another good news for coffee drinkers

CHICAGO (Reuters) - Researchers reported on Monday that drinking coffee cuts the risk of cirrhosis of the liver from alcohol -- by 22 percent per cup each day -- but they stopped short of saying doctors should prescribe coffee for that reason. The report from the Kaiser Permanente Medical Care Program in Oakland, California, was based on a look at data from 125,580 people.
"These data support the hypothesis that there is an ingredient in coffee that protects against cirrhosis, especially alcoholic cirrhosis," oncluded the report published in the Archives of Internal Medicine. What could cause the apparent protective effect is not clear, the report said.
"Coffee is a complex substance with many potentially biologically active ingredients," the study said. "The fact that coffee is also frequently taken with added cream, milk, sugar or other substances adds more possibilities for health effects." Other studies with similar findings have led to speculation that caffeine could play a role. However, the protective effect was not found among tea drinkers, though the authors said they were not nearly as numerous in the study as coffee users.
The report did not suggest alcohol users increase their coffee consumption or seek out drinks like Irish coffee that combine booze with coffee. "Even if coffee is protective, the primary approach to reduction of alcoholic cirrhosis is avoidance or cessation of heavy alcohol drinking," the researchers said.

2 Canadian Hero Soldiers Wounded in Afghanistan Battle

Two Canadian soldiers have been shot in a gunbattle with Taliban forces in Afghanistan today. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, said CBC correspondent David Common, who is in Kandahar in southern Afghanistan. They were taken by helicopter to a hospital at the main Canadian military base in Kandahar.
The soldiers were taking part in one of the largest gunbattles since international troops arrived in Afghanistan in 2002.
The operation, which was taking place in the Panjwai region west of Kandahar, started Sunday night after coalition forces learned that up to 800 Taliban fighters were gathering in a village. The military operation involves infantry, armour, and artillery from the Edmonton-based Princess Patricia's Canadian Light infantry. About 2,300 Canadian soldiers are serving in Afghanistan, mostly in the country's southern region.

This blogger is so honored that our troops had finally switched to the offensive operations in this war of pre-emption where the latter is, in fact, the only way to win. Hopefully, under our new conservative government, with cooperation of local, friendly forces under democratically-elected government of Afghanistan - we can expand our offensive operations against Taliban and Islamic terrorists in the region, increase troop presence, and eventually relieve our American friends from Afghan duty, as we plan to takeover all Afghanistan operations by 2008.

Stats for Libs

Murders, robberies and aggravated assaults in the United States increased last year, spurring an overall rise in violent crime for the first time since 2001, according to FBI data.
Murders rose 4.8 percent, meaning there were more than 16,900 victims in 2005. That would be the most since 1998 and the largest percentage increase in 15 years.
Murders jumped from 272 to 334 in Houston, a 23 percent spike; from 330 to 377 in Philadelphia, a 14 percent rise; and from 131 to 144 in Las Vegas, a 10 percent increase.
Despite the national numbers, Detroit, Los Angeles and New York were among several large cities that saw the number of murders drop. The overall increase in violent crime was modest, 2.5 percent, which equates to more than 1.4 million crimes. Nevertheless, that was the largest percentage increase since 1991.

Now ask yourself, libs, why would I bring this number (16,900 murders in on year in USA) to your attention - simple, so you shut up about Iraq minimal casualty rate, don't be hypocrites

After 60 years Hitler is back in Germany

Iran's Football team will be met with a series of protests across Germany during their World Cup campaign as anger mounts against the country's viciously anti-semitic President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Senior politicians, Jewish groups and a prominent German TV host will join a demonstration today in Nuremberg hours before Iran play their opening match of the tournament against Mexico in the city. They are furious that Ahmadinejad's deputy, Mohammad Aliabadi, has been allowed into the country after the Iranian President called the Holocaust 'a fairytale' and called for the destruction of Israel and United States.

Great News from Gitmo

Three detainees at Guantanamo Bay committed suicide in what apparently was a joint pact to protest the U.S. military prison that holds suspected terrorists, a senior administration official said Saturday. They are the first deaths reported at the detention center in Cuba, where the United States is holding about 460 men on suspicion of links to al-Qaida and the Taliban.

Shame it's only three, with recent Canada Islamic terror cell bust - we'll need lots of vacancies there, hope more follow their example.

WE GOT HIM!

Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the most-wanted terrorist in Iraq who waged a bloody campaign of beheadings and suicide bombings, was killed when U.S. warplanes dropped 500-pound bombs on his isolated safehouse, officials said Thursday. His death was a long-sought victory in the war in Iraq.
Al-Zarqawi and several aides, including spiritual adviser Sheik Abdul Rahman, were killed Wednesday evening in a remote area 30 miles from Baghdad in the volatile province of Diyala, just east of the provincial capital of Baqouba, officials said.
"Al-Zarqawi was eliminated," Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said.

I bet liberals are in tears, after all this was one of their favorite beheaders and "freedom fighters"; wow, this pundit is so excited we pulverized this little coward - I hope him and his entourage of monkeys enjoys 72 raisins (oops - wrong translation in Koran) in hell. Another glorious victory by G.W. Bush, admit it libs!

Somalia overrun by Islamofascists

MOGADISHU, Somalia - An increasingly powerful Islamic militia rolled through its newly captured territory and installed a religious court in one town Wednesday as the remnants of a U.S.-backed alliance of warlords desperately tried to regroup.
The Islamic Courts Union controls the Somali capital and surrounding areas after defeating the secular warlord alliance in weeks of battles that killed at least 330 people — many of them civilians caught in the crossfire. U.S. officials, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the issue, have confirmed cooperating with the secular warlords, who charge the militia has links to al-Qaida.

Canada's 9/11 have happened

I think Canada just had our 9/11 wake-up call, because of the liberal media bias in our nation, many here were blind and deaf to the global struggle against Islamic fundamentalism. But, I guess - these and coming raids against violent home-grown Muslim terrorist cells right here, on our soil, will be a wake-up call for the entire nation. Thankfully, our 9/11 went without casualty - thanks to the great effort by CSIS, RCMP, and local police departments

Toronto-born Muslim terrorists face big time charges

Six of 17 suspects arrested over the weekend in connection with an alleged plot to bomb Ontario targets have been charged with planning to cause a deadly explosion. The charges, released Monday morning, reveal that Fahim Ahmad, Zakaria Amara, Asad Ansari, Shareef Abdelhaleem, Qayyum Abdul Jamal and Saad Khalid have been accused of the most serious charges in the alleged plot. If convicted, they face sentences of life in prison.
All of the suspects have been charged with offences under the Anti-terrorism Act, which was passed by Parliament months after the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks in the U.S. Twelve of the men have been charged with knowingly participating, directly or indirectly, in the activity of a terrorist group. Those charges relate to activities in Mississauga, Ont., Toronto and the Township of Ramara, which is located about 150 kilometres north of Toronto.
Three of the suspects have been charged with importing firearms and prohibited ammunition, and supplying prohibited weapons. Ten of the men are charged with engaging in terrorism-related training. Residents in Ramara reported hearing gunshots from an area where men were seen dressed in camouflage gear. All 17 of the accused will appear in court Tuesday for a bail hearing.

Focus on Qayyum Abdul Jamal
Jamal, 43, is a member of the Al-Rhman Islamic Centre in Mississauga who reportedly has made fiery speeches and holds extreme views about Islam. He is believed to have been a mentor for the young people who were arrested in the investigation. Tarek Fatah, a spokesman for the Muslim Canadian Congress, said Jamal was part of a mosque that originally belonged to a group of moderate Muslims but "was taken over." Imam Qamrul Khanson told the Associated Press the language of Jamal's Friday night prayers had a more strident tone than other prayer leaders', but there was never any talk of terrorism or violence.

According to preliminary reports - larger investigation into this terror cell, had already spread through seven different nations, and more arrests are coming - Boo-Hoo-Hoo liberals - let's hear it for "religion of peace"

CN tower was one of the targets, more arrests coming

More arrests could be coming in the terror investigation, says the RCMP, as reports suggest that the Peace Tower and CN Tower were among the alleged targets. Details about the case are beginning to emerge, just days after 17 suspected Islamic terrorists were taken into custody following the delivery of three tonnes of ammonium nitrate.
A report in the Toronto Star says CSIS began monitoring an Internet chat room in fall of 2004 after a group of disaffected youths began espousing anti-Western views. The RCMP was brought into the case on Nov. 17, 2004, by CSIS after the agency thought it had enough information to warrant a criminal investigation, says Toronto Star.
It is, without a doubt, that we had turned the blind eye to this problem for way too long; of course liberals, being liberals, never would of seen it coming - let alone attempt a daring sweep against these aspiring terrorists in fears of being called bigots over targeting the followers of "religion of peace". Liberals need tragedy to even contemplate an action, thankfully they are no longer in power; I hope those brainwashed by liberal media in Canada (like CBC, or most of newspapers with notable exception of National Post) are beginning to wake up to the reality of the GLOBAL war against Islamic terrorism - which NO ONE is immune to.

Islamofascists threaten Brits over national flags

Following warnings by extremist Islamic group al-Muhajiroun, in which the group said that the red cross in the England flag symbolizes the 'blood thirsty crusaders' and the occupation of Muslims, some of the largest companies in England have ordered their workers not to wave the flags. The flag has recently appeared in England on everything from bikinis to cars, and sold in endless versions in stores. But the Islamic protest forced some corporations, such as cable companies NTL, Heathrow airport in London, and even the Drivers and vehicles Licensing Agency to ban the flag in every form due to fears from reactions of Muslims.
The Sun tabloid newspaper has in recent days launched a campaign to bring back the flag, and has published a blacklist of companies preventing their workers from expressing their patriotism at work. The Sun said that a large pub network has banned drinkers from entering with symbols of the national team. The hero of the day is a two year-old toddler, who was thrown out with his parents from Leicester, because he wore the England team's uniform.

BREAKING NEWS: MAJOR ISLAMIC TERRORIST TAKEDOWN IN TORONTO

It's a big story, with the biggest parts still to beuncovered. On Friday night the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) announced multiple arrests for terrorism related offences, sending shockwaves through the nation. The federal police force said they already have at least 10 individuals in custody, with some of these hailing from the Greater Toronto Area. "We've made a series of arrests today throughout the Greater Toronto Area," said RCMP Cpl. Michele Paradis." These are in relation to terrorism-related offences...as you can imagine this is on-going."indeedd, according to officials more arrests are not only likely, but imminent. As for Friday's takedowns, some are believed to have happened in one Mississauga neighbourhood. "At first I had to take a second, then it clicked to me that this is reality," said Anita Tiwary, who witnessed one of the arrests." I would never think something like this would happen in Mississauga. Officials won't confirm that any such arrests are connected to the terror bust however. Police and members of the Integrated National Security Enforcement Team will holding a news conference to update the case Saturday at 10am at Toronto's Congress Centre.

Well, it looks like Islamic fundamentalist savages were planning an attack right here, in "pacifist Canada", so much for liberal's naive belief they were somehow immune from the global war against fundamentalist Islam by siding with the enemy against United States - silly libs, still don't understand the reality of the post-9/11 world. This blog will keep up with this story, because this is major blow to possibly devastating Islamic terrorist plan right here - at the heart of Canada, as well as whatever's left of the plague of liberalism in Canada.

Time to nuke Iran is NOW!

VIENNA (Reuters) - A senior Iranian nuclear official signaled Tehran's determination on Friday to press on with its nuclear work, despite facing what Washington called a "moment of truth" over a program that could produce atomic weapons. The remarks by Mohammad Saeedi, deputy head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization, suggested Tehran may have already decided to reject offers of incentives and negotiations from six of the world's top powers in return for ending atomic fuel activities. "Iran is determined to go ahead with its nuclear enrichment work for peaceful purposes," Saeedi told Iran's students news agency ISNA. "The Iranian nation will not let us give it up."
What's a hold-up with these filthy Islamofascists, nuke 'em now!
