To Hell In the Handbasket or Simply Middle East

Palestinian border police officers stand next to the closed gate of the Rafah border crossing between the Gaza Strip and Egypt Friday, Dec. 30, 2005. Earlier, about 100 Palestinian policemen angry over the killing of a fellow police officer stormed the crossing, firing in the air and forcing European monitors to shut the border and flee, Palestinian and European officials said. Although the situation was brought under control, the border will probably not be reoponed on Friday. The incident was the latest in a rash of takeovers and kidnappings in Gaza that have undermined the rule of Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas.
As another saying goes - violence begets only more violence, just like Israel carrying out those random airstrikes, Palestinian authority also breaks too many rules for peace to ensue, which doesn't leave much hope for peace.

Empty Promises From Toronto Police Cheif Over Slain Teen

Toronto's police chief vows to bring those responsible for the Boxing Day shootout that left 15-year-old Jane Creba dead to justice."We'll get the people responsible for taking that young girl's life," Chief Bill Blair pledged, adding that his officers would also work to dismantle the gangs involved. "We're going to lock them up."Creba, a top student and gifted athlete at Toronto's Riverdale C.I., was caught in the crossfire on Monday's bloody exchange, which left six other people wounded. She was reportedly struck in the face, and died a short time later of her injuries.
I don't blame Toronto's police though, their hands are really tied and they are unable to conduct effective investigation due to "sensitive" liberal policies. Police is unable to use profiling, or really shake down suspects critical to this investigation; and analogously most of 52 gang-related homicides this year go unsolved in Toronto. It is necessary, thus, to give police, who already have manpower and resources, enough legal tools to deal with this rising problem of gangs and illegal guns - and under Liberal government it will NOT happen. Paul Martin, Jane Creba's blood is on your hands, for your failed policies failed her.

RIP Jane Creba, God Bless Your Soul

Tragedy in Toronto

This is Jane Creba, a 15 year old student from Riverdale Collegiate Institute high school in Toronto, she was shopping with her mother and sister on Boxing Day in downtown Toronto core at Young and Dundas, when two black gangs started shootout in the broad daylight in what police described as "turf war", resulting in chaos, 6 people being wounded, and this athletic, outgoing, friendly girl catching a fatal stray bullet to the head walking out of the store as panic ensued. Police is still on lookout for 10-15 suspects, as people are reluctant to come forward out of fear of reprisals.
This is Paul Martin's, Canadian idiot prime minister's gun registry program at work; and what does this idiot say in response to her death? Let's give more money to urban youth centers?! I hope everyone clearly understands now, why country of Canada can't afford Liberal government in power anymore.
I urge fellow Canadians, in the memory of this young girl and other victims of gun crimes, VOTE LIBERALS OUT OF OFFICE, we need a responsible government, a conservative government that will toughen up gun-crime penalties and stop Canadian penal system from having a revolving door, reform "young offenders" act to put these savages away for a long time, crackdown on illegal immigration, and push greater immigration reform so that criminals can't get into our great country and deport those already in to prevent tragedies like this.

RIP Jane Creba, we will not forget you

Two Lebanese army soldiers sit behind an anti-aircraft gun atop an armored personnel carrier while another looks at Israeli warplanes, unseen, flying over the southern city of Sidon, Lebanon, Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005. In their deepest strike into Lebanon in 18 months, Israeli planes attacked a base of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command, a small, Syrian-backed group that has been fighting the Jewish state for decades, a few miles outside the Lebanese capital Beirut, hours after rockets fired from Lebanon hit a northern Israeli border town. Two guerrillas were lightly wounded, the group said.

Idiot Prime Minister continues to embarrass Canada

Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin and Toronto Mayor David Miller warned that Canada could become like the United States after gunfire erupted Monday on a busy street filled with holiday shoppers, killing a 15-year-old girl and wounding six bystanders -- the latest victims in a record surge in gun violence in Toronto. The shooting stemmed from a dispute among a group of 10 to 15 youth, and the victim was a teenager out with a parent near a popular shopping mall, police said Tuesday.
Well, Paully, it's your failed gun control and immigration policies that created the gang problem in the first place, what an ignorant man ... but then again he is a liberal - I appeal to all Canadians remove this idiot from office during January 23rd elections if you don't want Toronto to turn into Harlem

Another Bad News Day for Liberals

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Municipal workers doing maintenance work in the Shiite holy city of Karbala uncovered remains that police believed were part of a mass grave thought to date to 1991, when Saddam Hussein's regime put down a Shiite uprising in the south. Meanwhile, more than 10,000 people backing Sunni Arab and secular Shiite politicians marched through Baghdad on Tuesday in support of a national unity government. Attacks on security forces left six Iraqi police officers and two bystanders dead. The remains in the mass grave, discovered on Monday, were sent for testing in an effort to identify the bodies, Karbala police spokesman Rahman Mashawy said. He did not say how many bodies were found and the police claim could not be independently verified. Human rights organizations estimate that more than 300,000 people, mainly Kurds and Shiite Muslims, were killed and buried in mass graves during Saddam Hussein's 23-year rule, which ended when U.S.-led forces toppled his regime in 2003.

Stokholm Syndrome or Pure Stupidity

DUBAI (AFP) - A former German hostage who spent 24 days in the hands of unknown captors in Iraq said her kidnappers were not criminals and had demanded humanitarian aid for Sunni Arab regions. Speaking to Doha-based satellite channel Al-Jazeera, Susanne Osthoff said her captors told her not to be afraid as her kidnapping was "politically motivated.""Do not be afraid. We do not harm women or children and you are a Muslim," she quoted them as saying.

Oh yeah, remember Beslan School Seige, sure brave Mujahadeen can't possibly harm children, or for that matter use them as human shields, and on 9/11 many of the victims were female - but what angers me the most is that dumb *insert worst possible expletive here* says THEY ARE NOT CRIMINALS! Oh, my virgin EARS - you were KIDNAPPED and THREATENED WITH DEATH cutiepie. Looks like we have another Sgrena on our hands (although, far better looking) - nice, a German Commie skunk - why, oh why couldn't the hostage takers just finish her off...

RIAA Thugs attack mom, 3,700 other innocents

WHITE PLAINS, New York - It was Easter Sunday, and Patricia Santangelo was in church with her kids when she says the music recording industry peeked into her computer and decided to take her to court.
Santangelo says she has never downloaded a single song on her computer, but the industry didn't see it that way. The woman from Wappingers Falls, about 80 miles north of New York City, is among the more than 16,000 people who have been sued for allegedly pirating music through file-sharing computer networks.
"I assumed that when I explained to them who I was and that I wasn't a computer downloader, it would just go away," she said in an interview. "I didn't really understand what it all meant. But they just kept insisting on a financial settlement."
The industry is demanding thousands of dollars to settle the case, but Santangelo, unlike the 3,700 defendants who have already settled, says she will stand on principle and fight the lawsuit.

First Xmas message from new Pope

VATICAN CITY - Pope Benedict XVI marked his first Christmas as pope Sunday, calling for concrete actions to back up "signs of hope" in the Middle East and urging peace in Darfur, Sudan and the Korean peninsula. Thousands of cheering tourists and pilgrims braved a chilly downpour to hear Benedict's message, delivered from the same balcony of St. Peter's Basilica where he uttered his first public words as pope.

Well, what do you have to say to this liberals?

WASHINGTON - Former Secretary of State Colin Powell on Sunday supported government eavesdropping to prevent terrorism but said a major controversy over presidential powers could have been avoided by obtaining court warrants. Powell said that when he was in the Cabinet, he was not told that President Bush authorized a warrantless National Security Agency surveillance operation after the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.

And that is the man you kept saying left due to his criticism of Bush policies, hehe, so much for that lie

Merry Christmas from Iraq, Liberals

Merry Xmas from PutiPut

The chief of Russia's strategic forces on Saturday attended the deployment of a new set of state-of-the art intercontinental ballistic missiles, boasting of their capability to penetrate any prospective missile defense, news reports said.Col. Gen. Nikolai Solovtsov, chief of the Strategic Missile Forces, took part in a ceremony that marked the commissioning of the latest set of Topol-M missiles at a missile base in Tatishchevo in the Volga River's Saratov region.Solovtsov said Saturday that the new missile "is capable of penetrating any missile defense system," the RIA Novosti and Interfax news agencies reported.Russian officials have called prospective U.S. missile defenses destabilizing and boasted repeatedly that Russia's new missiles could pierce any nation's missile shield. The Topol-M missiles, capable of hitting targets more than 10,000 kilometers (6,000 miles) away, have so far been deployed in silos. The mobile version, mounted on a heavy off-road vehicle, is to enter combat service next year, Solovtsov said. The deployed Topol-Ms have been fitted with single nuclear warheads, but officials have considered plans to equip each missile with three individually targeted warheads.

Limousine Liberal celebrities hate the troops, too scared

During world war two American troops away from home for Christmas were entertained by Marlene Dietrich, Bing Crosby and the Marx Brothers. Even in Vietnam Bob Hope was guaranteed to put in an appearance. But soldiers in Iraq are more likely to get a show from a Christian hip-hop group, a country singer you have probably never heard of and two cheerleaders for the Dallas Cowboys.
Just as the seemingly intractable nature of the war has led to a growing recruitment crisis, so the United Services Organisation, which has been putting on shows for the troops since the second world war, is struggling to get celebrities to sign up for even a short tour of duty.
It is a far cry from the days following the September 11 2001 attacks, when some of the biggest names in show business, from Jennifer Lopez to Brad Pitt, rallied to the cause. "After 9/11 we couldn't have had enough airplanes for the people who were volunteering to go," Wayne Newton, the Las Vegas crooner who succeeded Bob Hope as head of USO's talent recruiting effort, told USA Today. "Now with 9/11 being as far removed as it is, the war being up one day and down the next, it becomes increasingly difficult to get people to go."
Newton said many celebrities have been wary of going because they think it might be seen that they are endorsing the war. "And I say it's not. I tell them these men and women are over there because our country sent them, and we have the absolute necessity to try to bring them as much happiness as we can."
Fear is also a factor. "They're scared," country singer Craig Morton, who is in Iraq on the USO's Hope and Freedom Tour 2005, told USA Today. "It's understandable. It's not a safe and fun place and a lot of people don't want to take the chance." The USO was founded in 1941 as a way of boosting morale for the military. For most of that time Bob Hope, who made his first appearance in 1942 and his last in 1990, was its most recognisable face, famed for putting on Christmas extravaganzas on aircraft carriers and American bases during the Vietnam war. Thousands of performers signed up to play the "foxhole circuit" during the second world war, but the USO has a much smaller list.
Some of the entertainers still willing to travel are die-hard true believers - rock musician Ted Nugent carried a Glock handgun to shows in Iraq last year and said in a radio interview that he manned a machine gun on a Humvee. But many of the USO's regular performers are fierce critics of the war, among them the comic and star of Good Morning Vietnam, Robin Williams, who told USA Today he would like to return to the Middle East in the spring for what would be his fourth tour since 2002. "I'm there for the [troops], not for W," he said in a reference to the president. "Go, man. You won't forget it. You'll meet amazing people," is his message to stars that ask him about the tours. But the comedian said he mostly tries to keep politics out of the show after he did a few jokes about Bush's brainpower at a base in 2003 and got a chilly reception.
Other critics of the war who regularly perform include the leftwing comedian Al Franken (who is headlining the current tour along with Christian hip-hop group Souljahz) and the punk legend and actor Henry Rollins, one of the Bush administrations most vocal critics. The tradition of beautiful women thrilling the troops has continued - although while Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell showed up in Korea and Vietnam could boast Raquel Welch, in Iraq they have had to make do with sometime pop singer and reality TV star Jessica Simpson.

Communist Italy out of Control

MILAN (Reuters) - A Milan court has issued a European arrest warrant for 22 CIA agents suspected of kidnapping an Egyptian cleric from Italy's financial capital in 2003, Prosecutor Armando Spataro said on Friday. The case is one of several investigations into whether U.S. intelligence agents used Europe to illegally transfer militant suspects to third countries for interrogation. The renditions have led to tensions between Washington and the European Union. Milan magistrates suspect a CIA team grabbed Hassan Mustafa Osama Nasr off a Milan street and flew him for interrogation to Egypt, where he said he was tortured.

You know, it's a shame these people didn't get their share of Islamic terrorism yet, otherwise they wouldn't be so incredibly idiotic. Civilized world liberated Italy from fascists 60 years ago, it is about time to go in there again and liberate them from Islamic terrorist loving communists.

She's not the model niece Osama bin Laden's looking for - but she is modelling. This is how Wafah Dufour, the al Qaeda leader's niece, will appear in the January 2006 issue of GQ magazine. Dufour, who took her mother's maiden name after the terrorist attacks in the US on September 11, 2001, is an aspiring musician struggling to make a name for herself. She says she has never met Osama bin Laden.
"Everyone relates me to that man, and I have nothing to do with him," she said in the article. "There are 400 other people related to him, but they are all in Saudi Arabia, so nobody's going to get tarred with it."I'm the only one here."

Who could of guessed ?!

LONDON - Police investigating the failed July 21 London bombings charged a man Thursday with conspiracy to cause explosions. Metropolitan Police identified the man as Adel Yahya, 23, and said he had been charged with conspiring with four other men, who are awaiting trial over the plot to attack three subway trains and a double-decker bus in the British capital.

Adel Yahya - eh, somehow we all knew his name couldn't be John Smith, right liberals? I hope they torture him to get all necessary information.

Clowns from Italy

ROME (Reuters) - Italian magistrates have placed a U.S. marine under official investigation for murder over the killing of an Italian agent in Iraq earlier this year, judicial sources said on Thursday. Intelligence officer Nicola Calipari was shot dead at an improvised U.S. checkpoint on a road near Baghdad in March as he was accompanying an Italian hostage to safety. Italy and the United States held a joint inquiry into the incident, but they failed to agree joint conclusions and instead issued conflicting reports. While the U.S. military exonerated its troops of any blame, Rome said nervous, inexperienced American soldiers and a badly executed road block were at the root of the shooting. In the meantime, Italy's independent judiciary have pushed ahead with their own probe and have carried out forensic tests on the car Calipari was traveling in when he came under fire.
What you gonna do Italian commies, try to extradite a U.S. Marine AHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH, this was the best holiday laugh I got so far

A man shines a light on the ice of the threatened Amur river in Khabarovsk, about 6,100 kilometers (3,800 miles) southeast of Moscow, late Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005. A toxic spill from a chemical plant explosion in China reached the Russian city of Khabarovsk on Thursday, a regional government official said. The anxiously awaited slick, which extends for 180 kilometers (110 miles), entered the city limits toward evening, said Natalya Zimina, a spokeswoman for the regional administration. She added that pollution levels were within the norm.
You know, it is ironic how post-Soviet Russia demonstrates openness and transparency even under democratically questionable presidency of Vladimir Putin, while communist China descends further and further into Orwellian totalitarianism - where in this case we might not know for a long time what actually happened and how many actually died as a result of it ... oh and for those of us not well familiar with politics - communism is just an extreme form of liberalism ...

IN YOUR FACE RACIST LIBERALS

50 Cent mocked liberal Canadian officials who refused to allow several members of his entourage into the country due to various legal problems, heating up an energetic crowd at his Tuesday night concert at the Ricoh Coliseum. "We went on tour everywhere else, but they stopped us from bringing them into Canada," he said to the 7,000 fans, inspiring a round of boos. The artist himself almost never made it into the country after concerned politicians tried to halt his entrance. Aside from that one comment, however, he put aside thoughts of his detractors and focused on his business - entertainment. But with a heavy police presence, it was hard to brush aside thoughts of the gun violence that seem to follow 50’s career. Concert organizers beefed up security with uniformed and plainclothes officers in attendance, but the evening proceeded smoothly. It's entertainment - enjoy it for what it is."Fans were patted down and required to go through a metal detector. Idiot Liberal MP Dan McTeague started much of the uproar when he asked Immigration Minister Joe Volpe to bar 50 Cent from crossing the border, claiming his music glorifies a life of crime. Another miserable failure of racist liberals to crack down on free speech, too bad...

LIBERAL HYPOCRISY EXPOSED ... Again

Bill Clinton Signed Executive Order that allowed Attorney General to do searches without court approval
Clinton, February 9, 1995: "The Attorney General is authorized to approve physical searches, without a court order"
Jimmy Carter Signed Executive Order on May 23, 1979: "Attorney General is authorized to approve electronic surveillance to acquire foreign intelligence information without a court order."
WASH POST, July 15, 1994: Extend not only to searches of the homes of U.S. citizens but also - in the delicate words of a Justice Department official -- to "places where you wouldn't find or would be unlikely to find information involving a U.S. citizen... would allow the government to use classified electronic surveillance techniques, such as infrared sensors to observe people inside their homes, without a court order."Deputy Attorney General Jamie S. Gorelick, the Clinton administration believes the president "has inherent authority to conduct warrantless searches for foreign intelligence purposes."Secret searches and wiretaps of Aldrich Ames's office and home in June and October 1993, both without a federal warrant.

... and this was well before 9/11 and horrors of Islamic terrorism - but would liberals care? NO, just opportunism to Blame president Bush for anything, you disgust me filthy, lying, dissembling libtards.

WHAT? part 2

LOS ANGELES - Few condemned inmates have generated as much public support as Stanley Tookie Williams — and so much post-execution attention. His final send-off promises to be no different. A funeral normally reserved for a dignitary or religious leader was scheduled for Tuesday, almost exactly a week after Williams was executed by lethal injection for murdering four people during a pair of 1979 robberies. Among those expected to attend were the Rev. Jesse Jackson, who visited Williams shortly before his death; Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan; and hip-hop artist Snoop Dogg.

If yesterday's story wasn't enough of a shocker - this one is sure is ... jee, since we didn't get to see riots and lootings of plasma TVs last week - there is another chance ... Funeral procession for a man who co-founded most dangerous domestic terrorist group on U.S. soil - Crips?! Because he achieved "redemption" in jail - by NOT admitting to his crimes and killing more people in the showers? This is insane, Nation of Islam might as well honor fallen Taliban and Al Queda fighters if they endorse this - another surprise from this group. Jesse Jackson is a nutcase, so no issues there. And Snoop Dogg is a recording artist ... publicity at any cost. Tookie's worthless carcass should be cremated and spread in the wind, and now, I bet, we will see XXXL t-shirts in worst parts of our cities with his mug on it - according to this logic Hitler drew puppies and made Zyklon B manufacturer really rich, why - he's as benevolent as Tookie.

WHAT?

LOS ANGELES - Hundreds of people converged Monday on the South Los Angeles neighborhood where Stanley Tookie Williams co-founded the Crips to say goodbye to a "homeboy" executed last week over the objections of supporters who said he had turned his life around.
Williams, clad in a gray suit, lay in an open coffin at the House of Winston Mortuary as people quietly filed by with their heads bowed.
"Mostly everyone is out here because of his reputation," said Robert Collins, 27, who said he was a former Crips gang member. "Everyone knew Tookie was no angel. Everyone's just paying their respects to him."A line of 200 stretched out the door shortly after the six-hour viewing began in mid-afternoon. More than an hour later, the line had dissipated but people were still streaming through.

Everyone of these 200 people must be either:
(a) arrested
(b) put in mental hospital

PAYING TRIBUTE TO THAT PIECE OF HUMAN WASTE? FOR WHAT? FOR BLOWING A HALF A FACE OF YOUNG GIRL WITH A SHOTGUN?

Jesus, what have this world came to

Liberal Government made Toronto into Wild West

It began as a close call for a Toronto police officer. It’s continuing as a question about the justice system. The case of a man accused of firing a shot at a cop has sparked new controversy about the effectiveness of court orders and the bartering that often goes on at sentencing. The story started late Saturday night, when a victim robbed at an ATM near King and Jordan Sts. flagged down police. They quickly caught up to the alleged robbers and gave chase, as the pair scattered in different directions. But when one of the suspects pulled a gun and fired at his pursuer, both cops went after him and chased him down. Twenty-three year-old Sirvon Edwards now faces a slew of charges including armed robbery and assault with a weapon. The officer wasn’t hit. Edwards appeared in court on Sunday, but it wasn’t his first time before a judge. The accused had previously pled guilty to four other weapons charges in a Newmarket courtroom almost a year ago to the day of the recent crime. Edwards had been charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of a 21-year-old at Canada’s Wonderland in 2003. But while a second man was sentenced to life in prison in that case, a plea bargain reduced Edwards’ charges to the lesser weapons offenses plea, and he served just 12 months of a four-year-plus sentence. That still outrages the victim’s father, Marcel Lamondie, who can’t understand how the justice system failed his son. "Go to jail!” he screams, still furious years later. “You did this crime. You've got a gun in your hand. You're going to use it on somebody. And killing people, you're killing people and they're letting you go. I don't get it."As a condition of his release, Edwards wasn’t supposed to own any more firearms, but cops contend he’s the one who shot at them on the weekend. “The guy dropped the gun during the struggle and the officers were able to safely bring him into custody,” relates Chief Bill Blair. “The individual that was apprehended has a serious criminal record. I think it begs the question as to why he was out on our streets and why he was carrying a gun.”Lamondie shares the Chief’s concern and wonders why the exit of the justice system always seem to have a revolving door. “This guy should never have got out,” he moans. “This guy was charged with first-degree murder and he got a slap on the wrist, because … it's my feeling, that the Crown and the judge [said] who cared? It's another kid. Let's not worry about it. Just throw it away and let it go.”

What would liberals do ...

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. - A propeller-driven seaplane carrying 20 people crashed just off Miami Beach within sight of the city's high-rises Monday, killing at least 19 of those aboard, authorities said. Witnesses said the plane exploded in flames as it came down, and the FBI joined the investigation.

Earth to Liberals ... Special News Bulletin

WASHINGTON - President Bush acknowledged deep divisions and difficult progress in Iraq Sunday night, but urged Americans not to give in to "defeatism" and "despair" over the conflict.

(Full transcript)

Defeatism - is the bond and between liberals and the French, that and their deep and profound hate of everything America stands for. USA will stay in Iraq as long as needed and no whining from the left will jeopardize this successful campaign in the greater war against Islamic terrorism. I only have to add that after corrupt liberal government is removed from power in Canada January 23rd, 2006 - Canadian troops will be able to assist our American allies in this great campaign.

U.S. Democrats hopelessly stuck in Sept 10, 2001 mindset

WASHINGTON - Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid called Sunday for congressional hearings and investigations into President Bush's authorization of domestic spying as part of the war on terror. "This Congress has done very little oversight," Reid, D-Nev., said on "Fox News Sunday." "There should be an investigation and hearings." Reid acknowledged that he was briefed by the administration about the surveillance program "a couple of months ago." But he said the program apparently has been going on for four years and "there's no way the president can pass the buck."

This is war, and sometimes you can't fight a sensitive war as senator Kerry wanted us to - sometimes you have to temporary give up some liberties for the sake of national security, and yes hurt some terror suspect's feelings - but if that is the price that has to be paid, i.e. not 1 terrorist attack on U.S. soil since 9.11 (and don't bring up that anthrax nonsense) is a success of these policies such as these spying operations or Patriot Act - and if are attacked again as the result of suppression of these measures - I hope every senator who voted against these will have blood of the victims on their hands.

Minor, eh?

JERUSALEM - Butcher of Beirut, an accused war criminal responsible for Sabra and Shatila massacre Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon was rushed to the hospital Sunday night after feeling ill while working in his office, and a hospital official said he was awake and undergoing medical tests. Aides said the prime minister, 77, was being tested to see if he had suffered a minor stroke. "He has full consciousness and he's undergoing medical examinations," said Yuval Weiss, deputy manager of the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem.
I am sure we all wish him well and speedy recovery and long years to come.

Mental Patient Cindy Sheehan Now with Spaniard Cowards

MADRID, Spain - Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan led a small protest Saturday outside the U.S. Embassy to denounce the war in Iraq. About 100 protesters carried banners criticizing President Bush. Sheehan, whose soldier son was killed in Iraq, called Bush a war criminal and said, "Iraq is worse than Vietnam." The protest also was called in memory of Jose Couso, a Spanish television cameraman killed on April 8, 2003, in Baghdad when a U.S. tank fired at a hotel where many foreign correspondents were staying. Reuters cameraman Taras Protsyuk, a Ukrainian, also was killed in that incident.

The funny thing is that coerced by terrorists, Spaniards ran from Iraq like cowards they are after Madrid train bombings; I bet insane traitor Cindy Sheehan will find alot in common with these idiots. Her son, Casey Sheehan, a hero American soldier who sacrificed his life for freedom in the Iraqi campaign of the global war against Islamic terrorism even denounced her in life, so this abuse of that great soldier's name after his death is an abomination. However, Cindy's blatant anti-semitism will find followers among the Spanish muslim population - so good luck, hope you never return to continental United States again.

Libtarded WTO protestors out of control in South Korea

South Korean protesters clash with riot police near the venue of the World Trade Organisation conference in Hong Kong December 17, 2005. Hundreds of protesters battled through police lines on Saturday to reach a building where world trade ministers are meeting

I am so sick and tired of these idiots, I wonder if I can volunteer to go to South Korea and beat these protestors...

Necessary for National Security

WASHINGTON - President Bush said Saturday he personally has authorized a secret eavesdropping program in the U.S. more than 30 times since the Sept. 11 attacks and he lashed out at those involved in publicly revealing the program.
"This is a highly classified program that is crucial to our national security," he said in a radio address delivered live from the White House's Roosevelt Room.
"This authorization is a vital tool in our war against the terrorists. It is critical to saving American lives. The American people expect me to do everything in my power, under our laws and Constitution, to protect them and their civil liberties and that is exactly what I will continue to do as long as I am president of the United States," Bush said.
This pundit is certain that in post 9/11 world U.S. secret services have every right to know what people with names like Hassan, Mohammed, and Abdul are discussing in secret. This is war that we did not start, and sometimes unfavorable measures must be taken for, but we will prevail at the end.

Political debate escalates to extremes in Canada

The leaders of Canada's four main parties traded sharp exchanges Friday night, with the controversial issue of same-sex marriage kicking off the second leaders' debate. Conservative Leader Stephen Harper, who opposes same-sex marriage, reiterated his position that he would hold a free vote on the issue if his party formed the government. As in Thursday's debate, Harper pledged he would not use the notwithstanding clause to change the law.

A latter is the correct way to handle this issue of course, but there is always a correct way and a liberal way - pushing hidden homosexual agenda. Oh and Libtards, it's crime control we need, not failed Martin's gun control to curb gun violence in Toronto; 2 billion of tax payer's moneys is wasted - time to use that money for law enforcement, as Mr. Harper had mentioned, and NO MORE PAROLES FOR REPEATED OFFENDERS, EVEN JUVENILES.

But I digress, these debates are no contest, you have Ottawa's Tony Soprano Paully "the walnuts" Martin, a Frog Duseppe, a Lenin look-alike and think-alike Layton, and only one normal politician - Stephen Harper, vote Conservative Jan. 23rd, 2006.

P.S. it appears Paully "The Walnuts" Martin wanted to send troops to Iraq, BEFORE he decided against it - sounds familiar ?

U.S. DemocRATS side with terrorists again

WASHINGTON - Several Patriot Act provisions that the Bush administration says are crucial in the fight to stop terrorism on U.S. soil may only be around for another couple of weeks. A coalition of Senate Democrats and libertarian-leaning Republicans is threatening to filibuster a congressional agreement to renew 16 key portions of the USA Patriot Act before they expire Dec. 31.
A showdown vote was scheduled Friday, with the White House and its congressional allies rejecting suggestions for a short-term extension of the current law as is. White House allies said they would prefer to let the 16 temporary provisions expire completely rather than give critics more time to add additional restrictions on the FBI's ability to comb through Americans' computer files and bank and library records.

News Liberals Don't Want You to Know

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Millions of Iraqis, from tribal sheiks to entire families with children in tow, turned out Thursday to choose a parliament in a mostly peaceful election — among the freest ever in the Arab world. So many Sunni Arabs voted that ballots ran out in some places. The strong participation by Sunnis, the backbone of the insurgency, bolstered U.S. hopes that the election could produce a broad-based government capable of ending the daily suicide attacks and other violence that have ravaged the country since the fall of Saddam Hussein.

Of course liberals would prefer Saddam's torture chambers and rape rooms to the election booths, but that's just silly liberals

Elsewhere, after months of opposition, U.S. President George W. Bush has embraced Republican Senator John McCain's proposal to ban cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment of terrorism suspects . The move by the White House comes after growing pressure from Congress and from abroad.

So your muslim terrorist friends get a break to liberals, just stress positions and sleep deprivation for them - I LOVE IT

Peter Jackson's King Kong is Racist

Any movie that features white people sailing off to the Third World to capture a giant ape and carry it back to the West for exploitation is going to be seen as a metaphor for colonialism and racism. That was true for the original in 1933 and for the two remakes: the campy one in 1976, and the latest, directed by Peter Jackson. (In addition, a KONG wannabe, MIGHTY JOE YOUNG, has been made twice.)Movie reviewer David Edelstein, writing in SLATE, notes the "implicit racism of KING KONG - the implication that Kong stands for the black man brought in chains from a dark island (full of murderous primitive pagans) and with a penchant for skinny white blondes." Indeed, a GOOGLE search using the words "King Kong racism" yielded 490,000 hits. Comparing the new film with the original, the WASHINGTON POST's Stephen Hunter observed, "It remains a parable of exploitation, cultural self-importance, the arrogance of the West, all issues that were obvious in the original but unexamined; they remain unexamined here, if more vivid."And by more vivid, Hunter might be referring to the natives of mythical Skull Island, where Kong is discovered. Director Jackson took people of Melanesian stock - the dark-skinned peoples who are indigenous to much of the South Pacific, including Jackson's own country of New Zealand - and made them up to look and act like monsters, more zombie-ish than human. Indeed, one is moved to compare these human devils to the ogre-ish Orcs from Jackson's mega-Oscar LORD OF THE RINGS films. The bad guys are dark, hideous and undifferentiatedly evil. But for typical racist limousine liberal Peter Jackson - that if of no surprise.

As a Canadian I am ashamed of my current government

Canadian Libtarded Prime Minister Paul Martin has escalated a war of words with the United States, telling Washington not to dictate to him what topics he can raise in the run-up to Canada's January 23 election.
Martin was responding to a statement earlier this week by U.S. Ambassador David Wilkins, who warned Canadian politicians not to bash the United States as part of their election campaigning.

On behalf of Canadian silent conservative majority, I sincerely apologize for this clown's comments to my conservative American friends - please accept my deepest apologies for he does not speak for our country anymore, his corrupt government had failed confidence of majority of Canadians, and we are going throw out this scumbag out of office ... peacefully on democratically on January 23rd during our federal elections. I would also urge Americans to remember that, just like in U.S., plague of liberalism is slowly dying off in Canada - we are allies in this war against Islamic terror, and economic partners - we should respect each other's needs and position. I also regret that because of the liberal organized crime group that runs our country we are unable to assist in the struggle against global Islamic terrorism in Iraq due to the fact that these people almost destroyed our military. However, I hope after January 23rd, when we overthrow liberal government, Americans will finally see the real Canadian majority who were broken from the deceptive indoctrination of liberalism because of Jean of Arc of American conservatism Ann Coulter, genius pundit Sean Hannity, and liberating and glorious president G.W. Bush.
God Bless America, God Bless the troops, and God bless uniting and inspiring president G.W. Bush

Bush admits mistakes in intelligence, Dr. Rice moving up

In another politically bad day for liberals, President George W. Bush admitted on Wednesday that he led the US into the war in Iraq on the basis of “wrong” intelligence. But the president insisted on the eve of Thursday’s Iraqi elections that the conflict was justified by the goal of creating a “free and democratic” country after the fall of President Saddam Hussein.

In a rare admission of a mistake, Mr Bush said: “It is true that much of the [pre-war] intelligence turned out to be wrong. As president I am responsible for the decision to go into Iraq.” But in the last of four speeches before Thursday’s election, Mr Bush strongly defended the Iraq war. “We are in Iraq today because our goal has always been more than the removal of a brutal dictator – it is to leave a free and democratic Iraq in its place.”
Mr Bush described Thursday’s poll as a “watershed moment in the story of freedom”, saying the vote would create “the only constitutional democracy in the Arab world”.
The speeches have outlined the administration’s military, economic and political strategy for Iraq. In a letter to Mr Bush, 40 Democratic senators called for a “detailed plan” and called 2006 a “year of transition in Iraq.”

Elsewhere, the White House separately gave Condoleezza Rice, the secretary of state, authority to take the lead in planning and reconstruction efforts in conflict areas such as Iraq, in a reflection of the rise of the State Department under her leadership.

Dr. Rice is gaining more steam to prepare for possible 2008 presidential showdown between her and Hitlery ... can't wait for her to become first female U.S. president, racist liberals will go berserk, hehe

Today's words of wisdom

TEHRAN, Iran - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad escalated his anti-Israeli rhetoric Wednesday, calling the Holocaust a "myth" used by Europeans to create a Jewish state in the heart of the Islamic world.
"Today, they have created a myth in the name of Holocaust and consider it to be above God, religion and the prophets," Ahmadinejad told thousands of people in the southeastern city of Zahedan.

Libtarded News Bulletin

PARIS - A European investigator said Tuesday he has found mounting indications the United States illegally held detainees in Europe but then hurriedly shipped out the last ones to North Africa a month ago when word leaked out. Dick Marty, a Swiss senator looking into claims the CIA operated secret prisons in Europe, said an ongoing, monthlong investigation unearthed "clues" that Poland and Romania were implicated — perhaps unwittingly.

Operative word is French - that is NOT impartial judgement, ofcourse liberals are already waving white flags of surrender, but most of Americans had enough of Eurotrash and Libtards

Canadian Libtards getting further from reality

On the same day his closest opponent tried to distance himself from U.S. President George W. Bush, Liberal leader Paul Martin has received a stinging rebuke from the American Ambassador to Canada. In a speech to the Canadian Club in Ottawa Tuesday, David Wilkins didn’t mince words about Canada’s perceived growing sense of alienation from its closest allies. He expressed anger over U.S. policies being brought into the federal election campaign, and decried Canada’s criticism of the States at the recent U.N. environmental conference in Montreal. Martin singled out the U.S. for not doing more to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, a sore point between the two nations. But the Ambassador contends his country is actually doing a lot more than we are. “I would respectfully submit to you that when it comes to a `global conscience,' the United States is walking the walk," he ripostes. But these neighbours are doing more than just feuding over the environmental fence. Wilkins also critiqued the seemingly endless wrangling over softwood lumber duties and continued disparaging comments about the war in Iraq. Guns coming to Toronto from across the border was another sore spot. And while he didn’t specifically mention the Grit leader by name, there was little doubt who he was talking about. "It may be smart election-year politics to thump your chest and criticize your friend and your No. 1 trading partner constantly," he warns. "But it is a slippery slope, and all of us should hope that it doesn't have a long-term impact on the relationship ... "The last time I looked, the United States was not on the ballot for the Jan. 23 election." The Liberals have continually denied using anti-American rhetoric to appeal to voters on this side of the border. But they weren’t unhappy with the coverage given to last week’s chastisement of Canadian Ambassador Frank McKenna in Washington. Martin denies Wilkins' charges, arguing he's calling things as he sees them and isn't using the U.S. for political gain. "I will defend the Canadian position and I will defend our values and I will defend our interests against anybody," he insists. He then turned the accusations around, using them against Conservative leader Stephen Harper -- and possibly proving Wilkins' point. "If the thesis of Mr. Harper is that the only way to have good relations with the United States is to concede everything to the United States, then I do not accept that at all."The Grit boss ventured out west Tuesday, in his first real stops beyond Ontario. He made a speech in Winnipeg, before heading to Vancouver to get ready for Thursday’s first leaders’ debate. It will be held entirely in French, with the English version following the next night.

Word on Australian riots

SYDNEY, Australia - The racial unrest that broke out in Sydney's beachside suburbs over the weekend has spread to two other large Australian cities, where people of Middle Eastern descent were assaulted by whites, police said Tuesday.
In New South Wales, where Sydney is located, lawmakers scheduled an emergency session of the state Parliament to consider legislation cracking down on the rioters who rampaged through the city's suburbs for two straight nights, the region's premier said.
Seven people were injured and 11 arrested after youths rioted in the suburbs Monday night, smashing the windows of stores, homes and parked cars. The youths appeared to be of Middle Eastern descent, leading police to believe the destruction was in response to racially fueled attacks on a Sydney beach a day earlier.

This pundit thinks thanks some muslim immgrant groups fail assimilate into the western society they move into, living in the - in post 9/11 world and during the war against Islamic terror this ought infuriate certain people, so there is no easy sollution for this dilemma; what is happening in Australia today is probably an equal and opposite reaction to events in France last month - whatever the reason is, the sooner the war against Islamic terrorism is won, the better off the world will be ...

Have Tookie defenders seen this?

LOS ANGELES - Community leaders Friday called for peace in the city if convicted killer and Crips gang co-founder Stanley Tookie Williams is put to death next week as scheduled. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger heard arguments this week from Williams' lawyers seeking to spare his life but hasn't said if he will grant clemency to the death row inmate condemned for the 1979 killing of four people.

If you have any compassion for this animal and any doubt that he should be put to death is 2 days, look at these pictures (graphical content):

and give me one reason why he shouldn't be executed?

This is not a race issue....

Four more heroes sacrifice life for freedom

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Four American soldiers were killed in separate attacks in the Baghdad area Saturday, the day kidnappers of four Christian peace activists set as a deadline for killing the hostages unless U.S. and Iraqi authorities released all prisoners.
Liberals, however, have no regards for these soldiers, who the despise.

This just keep getting better

Little Rock, Ark., An Arkansas man who was arrested after he jumped the fence onto the White House grounds this week reportedly was after Chelsea Clinton -- not anyone from President George W. Bush's family. According to a court-ordered report from the D.C. Department of Mental Health, Shawn Cox, 29, thought Clinton still lived at the White House. He thought he was destined to marry her.

Slideshow: Alleged White House Jumper

Clinton, of course, left the executive mansion when Bush replaced President Bill Clinton.
Cox was arrested Sunday at the White House by the Secret Service. Bush was at home at the time of the incident. Cox was sent to St. Elizabeth's Hospital for mental health evaluations before his next court appearance on Jan. 6. A psychologist is reporting to the court that Cox appeared "psychotic" and "manic" and should be closely monitored.

I'm loving it

The DRUDGE REPORT has learned from a top GOP operative that the Republican National Committee will provide state parties with a web video prior to release tomorrow afternoon that shows a white flag waving over images of Democrat leaders making anti-war remarks. The ad is in response to the controversial comments Democratic Party Chairman Howard Dean and 2004 Democratic Presidential nominee John Kerry made earlier in the week. A Democratic strategist who had the web ad described to her said, “This is way over the top but we have no one to blame but Dean, Kerry and others who continue to pander to the anti-war activists within our party.”The web video advances the Republican contention that the Democrats only have a “retreat and defeat” message on the war in Iraq. The video highlights the effect Democrats can have on the morale of U.S. soldiers. One Republican strategist familiar with the ad said, “The Democrats, especially Howard Dean have a way of trying to turn the tables and say ‘that’s not what I meant’ – its just those ‘evil Republicans’ This video will make them crazy – it reinforces what they really believe with what they actually said – and that is devastating for the Democratic Party.”

Today's words of wisdom...

TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Thursday expressed doubt that the Holocaust occurred and suggested Israel be moved to Europe. His comments, reported by Iran's official IRNA news agency from a news conference he gave in the Saudi Arabian city of Mecca, follow his call in October for Israel to be "wiped off the map", which sparked widespread international condemnation.
"Some European countries insist on saying that Hitler killed millions of innocent Jews in furnaces and they insist on it to the extent that if anyone proves something contrary to that they condemn that person and throw them in jail," IRNA quoted Ahmadinejad as saying.
"Although we don't accept this claim, if we suppose it is true, our question for the Europeans is: is the killing of innocent Jewish people by Hitler the reason for their support to the occupiers of Jerusalem?" he said. "If the Europeans are honest they should give some of their provinces in Europe -- like in Germany, Austria or other countries -- to the Zionists and the Zionists can establish their state in Europe. You offer part of Europe and we will support it."
Historians say six million Jews were killed in the Nazi Holocaust. Ahmadinejad's remarks drew swift rebukes from Israel and Washington. Raanan Gissin, a spokesman for Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, said in Tel Aviv that Ahmadinejad was voicing "the consensus that exists in many circles in the Arab world that the Jewish people ... do not have the right to establish a Jewish, democratic state in their ancestral homeland". "Just to remind Mr. Ahmadinejad, we've been here long before his ancestors were here," Gissin said. "Therefore, we have a birthright to be here in the land of our forefathers and to live here. Thank God we have the capability to deter and to prevent such a statement from becoming a reality." White House spokesman Scott McClellan said: "It just further underscores our concerns about the regime in Iran and it's all the more reason why it's so important that the regime not have the ability to develop nuclear weapons."

John Lennon is still the enemy of United States

Today all libturds mourn the 25 th anniversary of the death of possibly the biggest ideological enemy of the United States in its history - John Lennon with his anarchist anti-American and anti-democracy Judeo-Bolshevik liberal rhetoric poisoned the minds of the entire generation of Americans and it is still resonating today (not to mention he started a limousine liberal trend - i.e. living in million dollar apartment and whining about capitalism) fortunately he was killed before too much damage can be done - I do not miss him.

Death of the Idiot

This copy of an undated family photo shows Rigoberto Alpizar, right, and his wife, Anne Buechner. Alpizar, a passenger who claimed to have a bomb in his backpack was shot and killed by a federal air marshal Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2005, after he bolted frantically from an American Airlines jetliner that was boarding for take off at Miami International Airport. No bomb was found.

Shouting you have bomb on a plane full of people in a post 9/11 world equals bullet to the head in my book. I commend the actions of brave air marshal, I am so glad he killed him, if he was just wounded libtarded lawyers or some activist judge would of awarded him a fortune, although his wife might sue ... oh well

next step on NAACP agenda: canonize Hitler

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Calling death row inmate Stanley Tookie Williams a "secret weapon" for helping black men stay out of gangs, the head of the NAACP traveled across California on Tuesday to rally support for clemency for the convicted killer.

Sure, all this great man had done is killed 4 people himself, probably, as a gang leader, ordered dozens if not hundreds of murders, thefts, rapes, drive-by shootings ... oh, and founded one of the most violent and bloodthirsty urban gangs in U.S. today - Crips - whose methods are no better than that of Al Queda

... but HE WROTE CHILDREN's BOOKS! and Jamie Foxx made a movie about him, AND SNOOP DOGG spoke out for him - WE MUST LET HIM LIVE!

right NAACP, and Hitler was generally a kind man and drew puppies who admired classical music according to your logic; you know liberals, I heard some support for this insane plea from your side ... you should be ashamed of yourself, this man is a TERRORIST, not only do I hope this guy is executed soon, I hope U.S. government classifies all urban gangs as terrorist groups, so they can be dealt with like Islamic terrorists - i.e. Tomhawk missile into local gang's safehouse

This is the Noble Cause, Cindy Sheehan

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - The first woman to testify against Saddam Hussein, hidden behind a high curtain, recounted on Tuesday how she had been made to strip naked, beaten and given electric shocks during weeks of interrogation. Identified only as "Witness A," she told the court how she had envied camels their freedom while she was held with hundreds of others rounded up after an attempt on Saddam's life in the village of Dujail in 1982. She said she was moved from one prison to another over four years during Saddam's rule, and had spent a bitter winter at the Abu Ghraib jail in western Baghdad before being driven through the desert to another jail.
"I saw camels and I was envious because they were free," she said.
In the desert prisoners had to forage for food from rubbish and walked three km (two miles) to gather firewood, she said. Her voice was heavily modified through a computer to protect her identity. She wept as she told of being forced by an interrogator soon after her detention to strip in custody while five officers watched."I was forced to take my clothes off. They lifted my legs up, they tied my hands, they beat me with cables and (gave me) electric shocks," she said.
She was then thrown into a small room with only red lighting, where she used her shoes for a pillow, she testified, adding that she was interrogated for weeks.
"From a small window, they gave us two loaves of bread," she said. "After all that torture, do you think we could eat?" Later she was taken to Abu Ghraib, she said, where the water was freezing cold in winter, prisoners' hair crawled with lice, and women pulled threads from blankets to sew clothes. "We had no shoes, we used to go barefoot," she recounted. "We would use cardboard and fashion a shoe out of it to go to the restroom." Witness A frequently referred to torture she saw inflicted on others, but was cut short by the judge who told her stick to incidents that had happened to her.
Still, she managed to recount how a deaf and mute male relative was held by his penis and mocked in front of women and children. At other times, men would be lined up and threatened with beating unless they ran. Guards stopped the women from helping one woman give birth, even when the baby was stuck between her legs, she said. Saddam, who regards the trial as a sham and has repeatedly questioned the court's authority, sat largely impassively through the testimony. He and seven others are accused of crimes against humanity over the killings of over 140 men from the Shi'ite village of Dujail after a failed assassination attempt on the then president in 1982.

"Courageous" Israeli Military

Palestine - Hebron: Israeli occupation soldiers have been blocking Palestinian schoolchildren from going to school.

Is this Israeli idea of fighting terror - pointing assault rifles at unarmed children? Elsewhere, at least four people were killed and dozens more wounded Monday in a suicide bombing at a shopping mall close to the city of Tel Aviv - do people begin to see the connection?

Putin is playing a dangerous game

MOSCOW - Russia has agreed to sell more than $1 billion worth of missiles and other defense systems to Iran, Russian news media reported Friday, a move expected to draw a heated reaction from the United States.
The Interfax and ITAR-Tass news agencies cited unidentified sources in the Russian military-industrial complex as saying that Russian and Iranian officials had signed contracts in November that would send up to 30 Tor-M1 missile systems to Iran over the next two years.
Interfax said the Tor-M1 system could identify up to 48 targets and fire at two targets simultaneously at a height of up to 20,000 feet.

Obviously this deal has nothing to do with pre-existing strategic agreements between Russian and Iran, but rather a statement by Putin-KGB (as I affectionately call him) and Kremlin towards Americans and especially Zionist elements in Israeli government agenda towards Iran, however, this is not a good time for Russia to ally self with in the Axis of Evil nation of Iran and display this needless bravado - especially after the statements by the Iranian president.

Picture of the Day

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Saddam Hussein's defense team walked out of court Monday, the former leader yelled at the judge, and Saddam's half brother shouted "Why don't you just execute us!" in an often unruly court session that also saw former U.S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark speak on behalf of the deposed president.

Why don't we ?

MIRAN SHAH, Pakistan - Shrapnel that appeared to be from an American-made missile was found Sunday at the house where Pakistan said a top al-Qaida operative was killed in an explosion, although President Bush's national security adviser declined to confirm the death.

11 Iraqi Heroes Fall In the Name of Freedom

BAGHDAD, Iraq - A roadside bomb killed 11 Iraqi soldiers and two wounded others Saturday, following the deaths of 10 U.S. Marines in the deadliest attack against American forces in four months. Elsewhere, a U.S. base at Mosul's airport came under mortar or rocket fire Saturday, wounding two American soldiers, the U.S. military said. Several detonations shook the installation — Forward Operating Base Courage — about 6:50 a.m. the command said.
The attack against the Iraqi soldiers took place near Adhaim, about 60 miles north of Baghdad, Iraqi officials said. Following the blast, the Iraqi convoy came under intense small arms fire, officials added.

War on Terror Continues

Approximately 200 Iraqi Army soldiers, along with 300 Marines from 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, deployed to Ramadi, 70 miles west of Baghdad, to begin conducting combined clearing operations intended to disrupt the insurgency and set the conditions for successful elections on Dec. 15.

Meanwhile, aroadside bomb in Fallujah killed 10 U.S. Marines and wounded 11 others, the U.S. military said Friday in the deadliest single attack against American forces in Iraq in nearly four months. Thursday's bomb struck a patrol from Regimental Combat Team 8 of the 2nd Marine Division, the Marine Corps said. The bomb was made from several large artillery shells, the Marines said.

Update on 4 libtarded hostages in Iraq

BAGHDAD, Iraq – Four Christian peace activists held hostage in Iraq were kidnapped at the same place where an Italian journalist was abducted, raising the possibility one group carried out both attacks, police said Thursday. The style of the abduction also was similar: The activists were seized Saturday in the vicinity of a mosque near Baghdad University. A car blocked their car, gunmen got out, threw the driver and translator out and drove away with the four captives, security officials said. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to talk to the media.

A woman reads Belgium's newspaper 'La Derniere Heure' that headlines 'This is our Belgian Kamikaze killed in Iraq' and shows a picture of Muriel Degauque from the southern city of Charleroi, Belgium, in Brussels, Thursday Dec. 1, 2005. Belgians were trying to come to terms Thursday with the news that a working class woman from an industrial southern city had turned from a 'nice' shop assistant into a suicide bomber who blew herself up in Iraq.

Authorities have identified a woman who carried out a suicide attack against a U.S. patrol in Iraq as a 38-year-old Belgian who had two marriages to radical Muslim men. Muriel Degauque, who grew up near the industrial city of Charleroi, entered Iraq from Muriel Degauque, who grew up near the industrial city of Charleroi, entered Iraq from Syria last month and detonated explosives strapped to her body in a failed attack against U.S. troops. Her mother, Liliane Degauque, told Belgian TV networks that her daughter was "so nice" — but began to change when she married an Algerian man and turned to Islamic fundamentalism.
